WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--OMT Inc. (TSXV:OMT), Dr. Jack Peterson, Chairman of the Board, announced today that Bruce MacCormack, B.Eng MBA will be nominated from the floor of the Annual General Meeting to the Company's slate of director nominees.

In addition to the slate of director nominees listed in the Notice of Annual Meeting and Information Circular, OMT intends to nominate Mr. Bruce MacCormack as a director from the floor of the Annual General Meeting, being held at 3:00 pm, May 20, 2003 at the Hotel Fort Garry in Winnipeg. It is intended that on any ballot that may be called relating to the election of directors, the Shares represented by proxies in favour of Management Nominees will be voted in favour of this nomination, unless a Shareholder has specified in his proxy that his shares are to be withheld from voting on the election of directors.

"Mr. MacCormack will bring new experience and depth to the Board of Directors through his extensive career in communications and technology companies including President of CanWest Interactive, President and Chief Operating Officer MTS Advanced Inc. and Assistant Vice-President Applications Marketing at Nortel Networks," commented Mr. Peterson Chairman of the Board of Directors of OMT Inc. "Mr. MacCormack also has an MBA from York University and a Batchelor of Engineering McGill University," he added.
