INC. APPOINTS MICHAEL SWISTUN TO BOARD OF
DIRECTORS
WINNIPEG,
MANITOBA – Dr. Jack Peterson, Ph. D., Chairman
of the Board of OMT Inc. (TSX Venture: OMT),
announced today that Michael Swistun, CFA has
been appointed to the Company’s Board of
Directors.
Mr. Swistun is a Chartered Financial Analyst and
Vice-President of the general partner of
Renaissance Capital Manitoba Ventures Fund L.P.,
one of the original private placement investors
in OMT Inc. He also is an executive with
Winnipeg-based Wellington West Capital Inc.’s
Corporate Finance Group. Prior to joining
Wellington West in 1996, Mr. Swistun was
President of Grand Pines Development Corp., a
Manitoba-based championship golf course and
recreational development company he founded in
1994.
Mr.
Swistun was a member of the original Board of
Directors when OMT Technologies Inc. was
acquired by Western e-com Inc. (formerly a
Capital Pool Company) in August 2001 as its
qualifying transaction, resulting in the
formation of OMT Inc.

Board,” Dr. Peterson declared. “His previous
involvement with OMT Inc. and his participation
on the original Board, his knowledge of the

industry, and his background in corporate
finance, will make him a valuable asset to the
